We build bridges in Turin
and between Turin and the World

We are committed to driving dialogue and fruitful collaborations between diverse stakeholders of Turin.
At the same time, we are strongly connected to 450+
Hubs like ours in all major cities of the world,
in over 150 countries.

Who Are We

Following the Charter of the Global Shapers Community, we act according to three pillars
We are a network vitalized by exchanges generated within our Hub and between Hubs
We are a platform for young people to explore and understand global, regional and industry agendas, and to make their own voices heard
We are volunteers engaged in projects that offer innovative solutions to local and global challenges

World Economic Forum

The WEF is the leading International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation. Established in 1971 in Switzerland as a non-profit foundation, it is independent, impartial, and not tied to any special interests. It organizes high profile events, most notably the Annual Summit in Davos (Switzerland) every January which serves as a space for confrontation and dialogue between political, business and civil society leaders.

Through events and projects, the Forum brings together people from all walks of life who have the drive to make a positive change on local, regional and international levels.

Global Shapers Community

The GSC was founded by the World Economic Forum in 2011 as a network of young people working together to address local, regional, and global challenges. With more than 12,000 members and alumni, the Community spans over 470 city-based hubs in 150 countries, including 11 in Italy. Shapers are between 18 and 33 years old. Hubs include between 20 and 50 members.

Turin Hub

Turin Hub was founded in 2012. It empowers industrious young people united by the desire to serve our local community with a global vision. Among us there are experts employed by major companies headquartered in town, freelancers and startuppers who have turned their passions into professions, researchers and activists committed to advancing environmental and social sustainability. The composition of the Hub also mirrors the multinational demographics of the city, embodying the spirit of global citizenship.

We organize and participate in local, national and international volunteering projects tackling issues such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, The Future of Work, Circular Economy, Sustainable Development Goals, Integration of Refugees and Intercultural Dialogue and other areas of interest. We deliver talks, presentations, workshops, panels, consultations, mentorship, publications and social media campaigns.
